Wood
Our pieces are made from reclaimed wood, a living material that will naturally develop character and patina over time. To maintain its finish, gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth. When needed, apply a very small amount of wood polish or a few drops of lemon oil to the wood only, then buff lightly with a clean cloth.
Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, perfumes, lotions, hair products, and harsh chemicals, as these may affect the wood’s finish over time.
Metal Cabochons
The rounded cabochons are finished in a gold-tone or silver-tone coating and should be handled with care. To clean, gently wipe with a soft, dry microfiber cloth after wear.
Do not use brass polish, silver polish, abrasive pads, steel wool, alcohol, acetone, or harsh chemical cleaners on the cabochons, as these may scratch, dull, or alter the finish.
Because each cabochon is carefully set into the wood, avoid soaking the piece or applying liquid cleaners around the cabochon settings. If needed, use a barely damp cloth on the metal only, then dry immediately and thoroughly.
General Care
Remove jewelry before swimming, showering, exercising, or applying skincare. Avoid spraying perfume directly on the piece; apply fragrance first, let it dry, then put on your jewelry.
Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat or direct overheated sunlight, as this may affect the wood and may loosen the cabochon settings over time.
Store your piece in a soft pouch or box when not in use, and avoid contact with abrasive surfaces.
