Your SOÜF bag is handcrafted from reclaimed, century-old wood and finished with solid brass or chrome hardware. Each piece is made from natural materials and designed to age beautifully with time.
Wood
Our bags are crafted from reclaimed wood, a living material that will naturally develop character and patina over time. To maintain its finish, gently wipe the surface with a soft cloth and apply a small amount of wood polish or a few drops of lemon oil when needed.
Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, extreme heat, or direct sunlight, as these conditions may affect the wood and the integrity of the bag’s magnetic closures.
Brass Hardware
Solid brass will naturally develop a soft patina with wear, which is part of its character. If a brighter finish is desired, clean gently with a brass cleaner or a small amount of lemon juice and buff dry with a soft cloth. For extra shine, very fine #0000 steel wool may be used sparingly.
Chrome Hardware
Chrome hardware is highly durable and requires minimal maintenance. Simply wipe with a soft cloth and, if needed, clean gently with mild soap and water, drying immediately to preserve its shine. Avoid abrasive cleaners or rough materials that may scratch the chrome surface.
General Care
When not in use, store your bag in a dust bag and avoid contact with abrasive surfaces or harsh chemicals.
