The Martha Clutch is an elegant sculptural piece that blends heritage, craftsmanship, and modern design. Named after the designer’s grandmother, the bag pays homage to her love of antique objects and a treasured keepsake box she once brought back from Thailand.

Handcrafted from reclaimed wood, Martha reflects SOÜF’s signature balance between natural materials and architectural form. Its clean rectangular silhouette highlights the contrast between warm wood grain and polished metal, creating a piece that feels both timeless and distinctive.

Available in two versions: our original cedar wood design with solid brass side panels and hardware, and a new Pure Conacaste Wood version finished with chrome hardware. The chrome edition brings a cooler, more contemporary expression to Martha, with a mirror-like finish that catches and reflects everything around it, turning the clutch into both an accessory and a small reflective object.

Designed to hold your essentials for an evening out, the Martha Clutch comfortably fits a phone, cards, keys, and lipstick. When not in use, its sculptural presence allows it to live beautifully as a decorative object on a shelf or table.

Care & maintenance

Your SOÜF bag is handcrafted from reclaimed wood and solid brass.
Wood

Our bags are crafted from reclaimed wood, a living material that will naturally develop character and patina over time. To maintain its finish, gently wipe the surface with a soft cloth and apply a small amount of wood polish or a few drops of lemon oil when needed.

Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, extreme heat, or direct sunlight, as these conditions may affect the wood and the integrity of the bag’s magnetic closures.

Brass Hardware
Solid brass will naturally develop a soft patina with wear, which is part of its character. If a brighter finish is desired, clean gently with a brass cleaner or a small amount of lemon juice and buff dry with a soft cloth. For extra shine, very fine #0000 steel wool may be used sparingly.

General Care
When not in use, store your bag in a dust bag and avoid contact with abrasive surfaces or harsh chemicals.
